Grooved Penne made from Stone-Ground Cappelli Semolina Wheat are made from ancient "Cappelli" durum wheat stone-ground, selected by the Association of Ancient Grains in Tuscany. The wheat is processed into semolina through stone grinding and then transformed into pasta by Pastificio Chelucci using traditional methods and dried at low temperature in static cells to fully preserve all the nutritional properties of the wheat.
Drying time:
The pasta is dried for 3 days (72 hours) at temperatures below 38°C inside static cells.

Grooved penne are ideal for simple and light sauces such as fresh tomato, perfect for the famous arrabbiata recipe. They are also delicious when baked with tomato and mozzarella.
